Whole Brain Alphabet Puzzle App - PRO VERSION
This educational app was developed with the main purpose of helping children with and without learning delays. It was inspired by a popular childrens classic; the wooden puzzle. The Whole Brain Alphabet Puzzle App PRO VERSION offers 26 puzzles A thru Z with 3 matching modes (color to color, line art to line art, and color to silhouette) totaling 78 different puzzles with 100s of playing options. Each puzzle focuses on 1 letter of the alphabet and features 6 original illustrations depicting each word. Words were carefully selected for their educational and developmental value. The PRO VERSION also has boy and girl voice options. Players can choose to have a boy or a girl speaking the words to further engage the child’s sense of play. Not only do players have fun matching pictures, but they also hear the word spoken by another child and see the spelling. Kids can start learning how to read and speak early vocabulary at the same time. By age 3, normative data suggests that children understand and are using a broad range of vocabulary including pronouns, action words, and emotions which was considered when selecting the vocabulary for this app. That’s not all… the PRO VERSION also has DATA COLLECTION. The PRO VERSION collects data for the puzzle played, match mode, the number of stacks in the gameplay tray, the score and the date played. This app is based on applied behavioral principles so children are encouraged to learn while engaged and having fun with the app. This alphabet puzzle app was developed by a Licensed Speech Language Pathologist with 16 years experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum and children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and a 16 year veteran of the video game industry. This app is perfect for therapists and education conscious parents as well as ESL (English as a second language) learners.
